PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: 21 September 2026. This policy explains how Floor & Co. trading as Brass Balls Marketing ("Brass Balls Marketing", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and shares your personal information when you visit www.brassballs.co.za, download a free resource, buy a product, join a course or contact us. We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
1. RESPONSIBLE PARTY AND INFORMATION OFFICER

2. WHAT WE COLLECT
Contact details you give us: name, email address, mobile number and, for physical orders, your delivery address.
Order details: what you bought, when, the amount paid and your order number. Card details are entered directly into Stripe and never reach our systems.
Account and course activity: login details, lessons opened, progress, comments and anything you submit inside the members area (for example an implementation win).
Communication: emails and messages you send us, and whether our emails were delivered, opened or clicked.
Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring page and cookie identifiers.
3. WHY WE USE IT (PURPOSES AND LAWFUL BASIS)
To deliver what you ordered, give you access to courses, ship physical books and send transactional emails such as receipts, login details and tracking (performance of a contract).
To send you marketing emails about our products, courses, articles and offers when you have opted in or bought from us. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in every email; transactional emails about your orders continue (consent / legitimate interest).
To provide support, handle refunds, replacements and complaints (contract and legal obligation).
To measure and improve our site, pages and advertising, including through cookies and the Meta (Facebook) pixel (legitimate interest; you can decline non-essential cookies).
To comply with tax, accounting and consumer-protection law (legal obligation).
4. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with operators who process it on our behalf, under contract, to run the business:
systeme.io / SCALR — hosts our website, checkout, email system and members area (servers in the European Union).
Stripe — payment processing.
Courier and fulfilment partners — receive your name, address and mobile number to deliver physical books.
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google — advertising and analytics pixels, which may set cookies on your device.
Professional advisers and authorities — where the law requires.
Some of these operators are outside South Africa. Where personal information leaves the country we rely on the operator being subject to laws or binding agreements that give substantially similar protection to POPIA, as section 72 of POPIA requires.
5. COOKIES
We use essential cookies (needed for the site, checkout and login to work) and, with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies. You can control cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may stop the checkout or members area from working.
6. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Order and payment records are kept for at least 5 years for tax and accounting purposes. Account and course data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so you can regain access. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.
7. SECURITY
We use reputable providers with encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and industry-standard safeguards. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach that affects your personal information we will notify you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.
8. YOUR RIGHTS
Ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy.
Ask us to correct or update it.
Ask us to delete it, where we are not required by law to keep it.
Object to processing for direct marketing at any time, and unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa): inforegulator.org.za, complaints.IR@justice.gov.za.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@brassballs.co.za from the address on your account. We will respond within a reasonable time and in any case within the period POPIA allows.
9. CHILDREN
Our products are for business owners and are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. TESTIMONIALS AND PHOTOGRAPHS
We only publish a customer's name, words, results or photograph with that customer's permission. If you have given permission and want it withdrawn, email us and we will remove the material.
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are dated at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
